Hello wonderful KP families!

I can’t believe we are less than a month away from wrapping up this school year! I wanted to take a minute and thank you for allowing me to be your child’s teacher this year and tell you how proud I am of your kiddos! I love the time that I’ve had with them as well as with all of you. I also wanted to thank you so much for your generosity during my birthday, you all made me feel so special! I feel so lucky to have had such an amazing group of parents this year. A special shout out to our amazing room parent team this year for all the hard work they put into our awesome parties, I appreciate you so much!

We will have our last parent-teacher conferences of the year next week. I will be doing both morning and evening conferences on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday so please look at the dates/times closely. Click here to sign up!

We will wrap up the school year with some really fun themes! Our themes of the month will be Space Exploration and Summer/Great Outdoors. We’ll start out the month with Space Exploration, our focus will be on the solar system, stars, astronauts and spaceships! Because I’m a big Star Wars fan and it ties in with the theme of space, we will be celebrating Star Wars day on Monday, May 5th in the classroom. I don’t know who’s more excited, me or the kiddos! Mrs. Redder gave us special permission to wear a Star Wars or space themed shirt for that day with uniform bottoms. We will then be moving on to talking about the changes we see in the summertime and do some fun summer themed activities!
