As the weather starts to cool down, please remember to send your child to school with a coat. Colorado weather is so unpredictable so they may not always need a coat, but it’s always better to have one!
On Tuesday, October 27th we will have a late start. All staff have mandatory security training with the DCSD security team. Before-care will be cancelled and doors will open at 9:15 with class beginning at 9:30.
We will have a fun and spooky good time with a fall festival classroom party on Friday, October 30th. Students will be allowed to wear their costumes to school but please no masks/weapons/makeup or costumes that are difficult to take off/put on for potty purposes. While your child is allowed to come to school wearing their costume, please remember that spills and potty accidents can happen. If you would prefer that your child only wear their costume for the party, they have the option to change into their costume after rest time and before all festivities. Your child may wear a dress of choice outfit if they prefer not to wear a costume. Our awesome room parent Monica will be sending out more details about the party including a signup for parents to help with the party! Volunteers for our classroom parties are highly encouraged as they help run things smoothly, please consider signing up!

Lastly, I will not be here this upcoming Monday, October 5th but Mrs. Odden will be back in the classroom with the kiddos! They're excited to see her again :)
