OCTOBER NEWS

Dear KindiPrep Families,

Wow!  Time flies when you are having fun! I cannot believe that October is already here. Remember that the weather is changing and we go outside at 9 am. Please have your child bring a sweater or sweatshirt for the mornings even if it warms up for the afternoon. Now is a good time to change your child's extra clothes in their cubby. 

Literacy: This month in literacy we will be working on letters Dd, Oo, Cc and Gg. 

Math:  We will be learning to identify, represent and count and write up to 5. We will also be starting to classify and sort data.

Themes: Fall, Classic Tales, Community Helpers, Families and Halloween

Important Person: Mondrian and Delaunary 

We will have our first classroom party on October 30th from 1:45-2:45. Your child may wear their costume to school that day as long as they can take it on and off to use the restroom. If not, they can pack it and I will help them put it on before the party. We will do a little parade with the rest of KindiePrep before we start our party. Parents are always welcome to come and I’m sure we will have a sign up to help with the games and activities.
