Immunizations for 2026-2027 School Year

Please read this letter from CDPHE regarding immunization requirements for schools in Colorado.

Many students will need immunization updates before the start of the 2026–2027 school year in August. Spring and summer are a great time to schedule appointments with your child’s healthcare provider to ensure immunizations are up to date.

• Incoming 7th grade students are required to receive a Tdap booster prior to starting 7th grade.

• Incoming kindergarten students also have required immunizations that must be updated before the start of school in August. Please bring updated immunization records to registration events in August.

• For non-medical immunization exemptions (required annually after June 30), please complete the online module or download the Certificate of Non-Medical Exemption.
