The Douglas County Libraries Summer Reading Challenge returns June 6–July 31, 2026, with fun for all ages! Families can track reading, complete activities, and enter to win exciting prizes including rodeo tickets, games, gift cards, and more.

Participants are encouraged to read 1,000 minutes over the summer, but families may create goals that work best for them.

Registration is free and open May 1–July 31.
