This required event is your one-stop shop to take care of everything before the first day of school—quickly and stress-free. If you’re unable to attend, please complete this form to let us know.

When you arrive, you’ll receive a Rebel, Set, Go! passport to guide your visit. Some stations require a stamp, others are optional—but all are worth a stop and can be visited in any order.

Here’s are some of the things you’ll take care of at Rebel, Set, Go!:

Student Photos – Students should wear a uniform top or plaid jumper for their headshot. Uniform bottoms are optional since photos are from the shoulders up—just don’t forget to bring a smile!

Supply Drop-Off – Bring your child’s school supplies in a taped box clearly labeled on top with their name, grade, and homeroom teacher (if known). Haven’t purchased supplies yet? No problem—you can drop them off at a later date.

New Parent Table & Uniform Info – New to American Academy? We’re so glad you’re here! Stop by to get your questions answered, ease those first-day jitters, and learn everything you need to know about uniforms. Returning families are welcome too—whether you need a quick refresher or just want to say hello!

Meet the PTO – Our Parent Teacher Organizations are an essential part of what makes American Academy thrive. PTO members are parents—just like you—who’ve stepped in to support our school in meaningful ways. Family involvement is a key contributor to student success, and our PTOs offer lots of ways to get plugged in. Stop by their table to learn how you can get involved and start working toward your 40-hour family volunteer commitment.

Meet Our Rebel Watch Team – Moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles—all are welcome to join this volunteer program focused on campus safety and being a role model for students. No minimum commitment—volunteer one day a year or one day a week! Stop by to learn more and sign up.

SDM & Carpool – Carpool is a key part of our daily routine, and we want to make sure you're set up for success. Stop by for help with the School Dismissal Manager (SDM) app and to get answers to any carpool questions you may have.

Medication Drop-Off – Stop by to meet our health and front office teams and safely drop off any student medications for the year.

ECAs & Athletics – Learn about our wide range of Extracurricular Activities and Middle School Athletics, and find out how your student can get involved beyond the classroom.

STEM Programs – Discover how American Academy’s award-winning STEM program brings science, technology, engineering, and math to life through hands-on projects, integrated curriculum, and real-world problem solving. Learn more about grade-level highlights and exciting STEM opportunities your student will experience this year.

Specials & Performing Arts Info – Learn about our engaging Specials classes (Art, Music, Tech, and PE) built into the school day, and explore Performing Arts opportunities like theater and choir that let students shine beyond the classroom.

KindiePrep Program – Families of our youngest learners can stop by to ask KP-specific questions and get set up for a smooth first day.

Whether you're a returning family or brand-new to American Academy, Rebel, Set, Go! is your launchpad for a successful school year. Stations will be clearly marked, and our team will be there to guide you through every step.
