KINDIEPREP HOURS AND CARPOOL - UPDATES

Thank you to all the KindiePrep families that following all the Carpool rules and setting great examples.  Just a couple of updates to share about Carpool:

  • In the morning -
    • Please do not go through carpool and then pull in the parking lot to park in the KindiePrep spots to wait for drop-off. KindiePrep families that utilize BeforeCare need those spots. After you drop off your K-8 student then you can go park in lanes 6 & 7 to wait for KP drop-off.
  • In the afternoon-
    • Please don't park on the curved part of the road unless you are a Middle School+KP family that received a special placard to park there. MS+KP families please be park there before carpool starts. You cannot park there once carpool has started.
    • KindiePrep pickup is from 2:55 - 3:10pm. You need to be at school before 3:10pm to bypass carpool in the afternoon. If you miss the cut off your student will go to aftercare and you will need to go through carpool. No exceptions! (If children are not picked up by 3:10pm they will be put in extra-care and you will be charged $15.00 for their care plus a $25 late fee.)
    • If you arrive for pickup after 2:05pm please pull into the parking lot to pick up your KP student. All cars must be off the road in front of the school by 3:10pm. Parking in the parking lot gives you time to get your KP student without having to rush

*In the afternoon, if you arrive while carpool is actively running you will need to drive through carpool.  No skipping it in the afternoon.*

DRESS CODE

We are more than a month into school, and I am still seeing some dress code violations. Please make sure your child's attire meets dress code standards:

  • Navy Blue pants, shorts, & skorts (solid - NO designs)
  • Navy Blue, Red, or White Dresses (solid - NO designs)
  • Marymount Plaid skirts and jumpers
  • Red, white, or Navy Blue shirts, sweatshirts, and sweaters (solid - No designs)
  • Socks, tights, & leggings must be solid red, white, or navy blue (solid - no designs)
  • Shoes must be free of characters, gems, and lights. They must also be close toed and have closed backs. NO sandals, boots, crocs, flip-flops, etc.
  • AA uniform monikered items are allowed

You will be notified if your student is in violations of our dress code.

FUN RUN - FALL FUNDRAISER

KindiePrep students will be participating in the Fall Fundraiser. The actual Fun Run will be on October 3rd, and our run time is from 8:45am - 9:15am. If you student is a Tuesday/Thursday student they can attend the Fun Run parents will just need to bring them for the half hour event and stay with them the whole time. For more information about the event go the the PTO Stellar Stride page.

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCE

Our first parent teacher conference of the year will be October 8th and 9th. Teachers will be providing sign-ups next week. This is a great time to meet and discuss successes and concerns about your child. We encourage all families to try and attend.

SIBLING PRIORITY WAITLIST

Being a current American Academy family, if you have additional children (KP-8th grade) interested in attending American Academy for the 2026-2027 school year please visit our Sibling Priority Waitlist page for information.

DELAYED START TO THE SCHOOL DAY

On Monday, October 27, 2025 KindiePrep and the K-8 will have a late start. KindiePrep will not open it's doors until 9:15am and there will not be BeforeCare that morning. All staff will be in a safety and security meeting that morning. We will also be participating in a Lockdown Drill that day. For more information please visit the Delayed Start page.

PARENT NIGHT OUT

KindiePrep does not currently participate in Parents Night Out, aka PNO. The reasoning for that is that KindiePrep has different guidelines they have to follow due to the age of our students. If KindiePrep was to participate in a PNO it would cost a little more and we would have to require a minimum number of students to make the evening happen. All that being said, please fill out the survey to share your interest in the possibility of the event. KindiePrep Campout aka PNO Survey
