PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES
Conferences are next week. Teachers have sign-ups available either online or in front of their classroom. This is a time to talk about your children if you have questions or concerns. Please be cognizant of the allotted time for your conference.
VALENTINE'S PARTIES
Valentine parties will be held on Wednesday, February 11th for the 3-day a week students, and Thursday, February 12th for the 2-day and 5-day a week students. All parties will be from 1:45 - 2:45 pm. Child can wear Valentine's Day related tops with dress code bottoms. Please look for more communication from your child's teacher or room parent.
WARM WEATHER ATTIRE
We go outside for recess everyday as long as it feels like 28 degrees or higher. Please dress your children appropriately and bring a coat since winter finally appeared.
EXTRACARE is FULL (Most Days)
We want to let everyone know that ExtraCare is FULL for most of February! This means there will likely not be room for same day requests. ExtraCare calendars are available at the front office for the current month and the upcoming month or two. If you need extra-care in February please check to make sure we have room. Also, grab a calendar for March if you know you will need extracare.
FROM THE PTO: STOCK THE LOUNGE INFO
At LM we do Stock the Teacher Lounge for the entire school off one Sign-up. This signup has every month on it and will be the same link that takes you to the Signup I will adjust throughout the year as needed. We have PTO Volunteers that fill the lounges twice a month. We fill the main lounge first, then we will come fill the KP fridge if we have supplies left.

REMINDERS
SIGNING CHILDREN IN AND OUT
You must sign your student in at drop-off and out at pick-up! This is a super important for many reasons. This is how we find out if your child does or does not need hot lunch each day. The state also requires that we maintain attendance records. Most importantly, it's for safety! We need to know who is in attendance so if something happens we know exactly who is here, where to find them and who to contact
KINDIEPREP HOURS
KindiePrep school day hours are from 8:30am - 2:55pm. It is important for your child to be at school on time. Students arriving at school on time have the advantage of settling in, preparing their class materials, and focusing their minds on the day to come. Being late can also cause children to miss important information for the day. The doors to KindiePrep open at 8:15am giving families 15 minutes to get their student signed and settled in for the day. In the afternoon families have from 2:55pm to 3:10pm to pick up their children, unless they are signed up for extra-care. If children are not picked up by 3:10pm they will be put in extra-care and you will be charged $18.00 for their care. We will also call to inquire about your pick up plan. When picking up remember - NO PARKING ALONG THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING AFTER 3:10PM. If you are going to be in the KindiePrep building after 3:10pm you need to park in the parking lot. Thank you!
REMEMBER – If carpool is actively moving when you arrive you must go through carpool. You cannot skip or go around carpool - EVER!
