Dear Parents,
Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with you and your child. It’s going to be great year of fun and to explore new things. I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us. As a parent myself, I know that your pride and joy is entering my classroom every day, and I thank you for allowing me this wonderful opportunity to be their teacher. I promise to give my very all to teach, inspire, motivate and encourage your child.
We need to work together as a team! Its parents’ enthusiasm, support, and involvement that inspire children to do their best, and a teacher’s ability to teach what they need to learn. Together we can achieve wonderful things.
I am married to my high school sweetheart Jeff of 30 years. We have two grown children; my son Mike and my daughter Briana. My son Mike lives in North Carolina pursuing a career in pharmaceuticals and Briana is working on her Masters in Data science. I like to spend my free time Hiking, Camping, Fishing, and enjoying the outdoors with my family.
This is my tenth year at American Academy and absolutely love it! I have been teaching over 23 years. Before teaching I was a Dental assistant and I loved to see the children come in and get their teeth cleaned. I love teaching preschool! It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students.
I will be posting important, useful sites and interesting events happening with our class throughout the year. We invite you to join us August 17th 4:30-6:00 pm for Open House where you get the chance to explore the classroom and drop off school supplies.
